FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Scarborough, Ontario, November 24, 2017) - The Leader of Canada's Conservatives, The Hon. Andrew Scheer, stopped by the campaign office of Scarborough-Agincourt's Conservative Candidate Dasong Zou to rally the troops, but ended up being mobbed by hundreds of enthusiastic fans and supporters.
Volunteers and residents had packed the room to hear Andrew Scheer speak about his positive Conservative message and the need to hold the Trudeau Liberals to account.
“Everyone in Scarborough-Agincourt and across the country will prosper under our positive Conservative plan of low taxes and prosperity,” said Scheer. “The Liberals have one set of rules for themselves and their friends, and another for the rest of us. They give with one hand, while at the same time taking with the other. Residents in Scarborough-Agincourt can send a message to the Trudeau Liberals on December 11 by voting for a young, energetic Conservative in Dasong Zou who is ready to fight hard on their behalf!”
Dasong Zou’s Five Point Conservative Plan includes; opposing the legalization of marijuana and prescription heroin, defending local businesses against unfair tax hikes, removing the tax on home heating bills, placing parents first when dealing with government and ensuring fairness in the immigration system and a secure border.
Dasong immigrated to Canada in 1999 and graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Math and Economics. He built his career in the financial services sector and currently works at a major Canadian bank as a Business Integration Manager.
The Dasong Zou campaign office is located at 3469 Sheppard Avenue East. A Scarborough-Agincourt by-election has been called for December 11.
